Continuing its commitment to all Wisconsin artists, Wisconsin Visual Artists sponsors and organizes the Wisconsin Artists Biennial, a state wide fine arts competition open to all visual artists in the state of Wisconsin. This year the Rahr-West Art Museum will host and co-sponsor the exhibition. Exhibition management is being conducted by the WVA Biennial committee.

Juror: Mark Pascale Mark Pascale is Associate curator of Prints and Drawings at The Art institute of chicago, and concurrently Adjunct Professor of Art in Print Media, at the school of the Art institute. He has been active in the chicago art world for more than twenty-five years, as a curator, researcher, and teacher. He has an impressive record of exhibitions and publications, most recently for the exhibition catalogue Jasper Johns: Gray, published by The Art institute of chicago in the Fall 2007. in addition, Pascale remains active as a lecturer and presenter, with venues including chazen Museum, university of Wisconsin-Madison; iMPAcT iV international Printmaking conference, Berlin and Poznan, Poland (session chair); and the Mid America Print council conference at the university of Nebraska- lincoln (panelist). Pascale has an M.F.A. in printmaking from ohio state university, columbus, ohio.
